Madrid, 12 September 2016.- Madrid has taken up the torch from Poznan as the organizing host city of the FDI World Annual Dental Congress, to be held in the capital of Spain from August 29 to September 1, 2017.
The President of the Spanish Dental Association, Dr. Oscar Castro, led the Spanish delegation at the FDI General Assembly celebrated in Poznan (Poland) at the beginning of September. Our delegation participated in the exchange of flags between host countries which represents the start of the countdown for Madrid to be the world capital of Dentistry during 2017.
"For the Spanish Dental Association and for the whole profession it is a great responsibility but also a great opportunity, since it is a Congress that meets all necessary characteristics to attract dentists and dental students as well as dental technicians and hygienists, as it will be a multidisciplinary event counting on the presence of the major national and international experts from the various dental disciplines", said Dr. Castro.
The Congress would combine the scientific training section with a trade exhibition of 5,000 m2 where the top worldwide brands will be represented.
In addition, the registration fees will be extremely competitive and affordable, given that one of the objectives set by the Spanish Dental Association is to harmonize an event of the highest possible quality with the highest attendance of participants.
“The objective is to put the most famous experts in direct contact with the professionals, mainly with the Spanish dentists, students, dental technicians and hygienists, to further improve the training of all of them, which will always result in a better patient care, which is definitely our main goal", stressed Dr. Castro.
